We are working long days and hoping to keep our operating room running continuously. The Surgeons tell everyone that we saved these patients lives. But we are worried how they will get by with amputations in the future under the terrible conditions in Haiti
Jack also reports that he met documentary photographer, author and filmmaker Gerry Straub. According to his foundation's website, he "left a profitable and successful career as a producer of Hollywood soap operas for a radically different vocation." Dr. Jack, thank you for keeping us updated on the medical teams work in Haiti. It is so hard for us to watch the story's coming out of Haiti on the news, we can't even imagine how hard it must be for all of you to live it. PV you continue to amaze us and we are in awe of your talent and generosity.
